I can't believe this book has less than 20 reviews. The Man From Newella totally blows away anything that the internet marketer/kindlepreneur crowd (that has invaded Amazon) could ever create. Unlike most of the book reviews on Amazon, this review is authentic. It is obvious right from the start that the author is unique. The narrative is equal parts apocalypse and western, but totally original. I loved the apocalyptic dime novel approach. This book is easy to read, has great characters and makes you turn the pages. After reading this I immediately bought the sequel. The Man From Newella is by far one of the most original books I have read in a while, 5.5 stars.Product details

Loved this short story!
This is an excellent start to an exciting serial adventure, unique, well-written and captivating. It ropes you in from the very first sentence and never lets you go. You can read it in a very short time and then go looking for the next installment. I love the larger-than-life hero and the whole originality of the story. Hurry and write more, Mr. Hale. Can't wait.
This is the ultimate story of misdirection, dark humor, wild, wild west and that is just the first couple chapters. He mentions more stories to come...hope that is true as the man from newella is one bad dude.But, in his wasteland of a world he has to be to keep surviving. He never attacks the people leaning toward humanity, just those who prey on other people. Fast paced, afraid to view the next page as the story changed so rapidly. Secrets only a follow up can reveal....get this one. A bargain 99 cents...shu

Thankfully, the author plans on frequent new titles (1 to 2 a month) in this series. At .99 an issue, its easy to get the monkey off your back and get your fix!
This is a fascinating story. I love the format of the storytelling. We hear about "The Man From Newella" as stories told from a specific point of view, in this case the sheriff of a small town suffering from unique problems caused by the crimson rain. Brandon knows how to weave a great tale.
